Words to know
- personal 'a'
- the preposition 'a' that is used after verbs like 'ver' or 'visitar' when we see or visit a person or pet
- -er verbs
- a verb whose infinitive form ends in -er
- 2nd person singular
- form of pronouns and verbs used to talk about 'you'
Common mistakes
The verbs 'ver' and 'visitar' are used in the same way regardless of who or what you are visiting.
When seeing or visiting a person or a pet, you need to add in the preposition 'a' after the verb.
For parents, carers and teachers
- It may be helpful to spend additional time on revising inflection for questions and allowing pupils to practise raising their voices at the end to change statements into questions.
