- Feel: following the rules carefully shows honesty and allows everyone to enjoy the game.
- Connect: positive participation in a team shows cooperation and increases your chances of success.
Words to know
- rules
- a guide that describes how to play a game
- success
- trying your best and making progress towards achieving a goal
- teammate
- the members in your group
Common mistakes
Teammates are so busy running away from taggers that they forget to look carefully and collide with others.
Remind pupils that to avoid collisions, they must look ahead and dodge others by changing direction and slowing down.
For parents, carers and teachers
- If you don't have enough bibs for everyone, use coloured beanbags instead. Each player holds a colour to match their teammates and can use it to tap others gently to tag them (not throw it!).
