Common mistakes

When translating into English from German, I only need to understand the gist of the sentences.

When translating, it's important to ensure that you have accounted for the meaning of every German word, even though you might not translate word-for-word into English.

For parents, carers and teachers
  • The tasks in the second learning cycle are aimed at Foundation, Foundation/Higher (overlap question) and Higher, but all students could usefully attempt all questions. For the translation into English, Foundation and Higher versions are provided.
