Key learning points
- Madrid is the capital of Spain and its largest city. It's famous for its many museums, palaces and parks.
- Indefinite pronouns replace a noun in the sentence and match the gender and number of the noun they refer to.
- Alguno, alguna, algunos and algunas mean 'some', 'any' or 'a, an' and are used in affirmative sentences and questions.
- 'Ninguno' and 'ninguna' mean 'none', 'no-one', 'not a single one'; they are always used in the singular form.
- Indefinite adjectives and indefinite pronouns are identical apart from the masculine singular form.

For parents, carers and teachers
- Following speaking task B3, teachers can ask students to write 2-3 follow-up opinion sentences based on their partners' answers or finish by asking students which places they would recommend in Madrid using indefinite pronouns (e.g. 'recomiendo visitar algunos parques como El Retiro.').
