- teamwork
- working with other people to complete a task
- communication

Common mistakes
Pupils think all effective leaders are loud and shout to be heard.
It is common to hear a leader with a voice which is projected when communicating. However, there is so much to effective leadership beyond verbal communication, such as, active listening, knowing your team and showing empathy, to name a few.
For parents, carers and teachers
- Where possible keep activity levels high. You may want to have images of inspirational leaders around the room to spark conversation about effective leadership.
