I can use verbs in the inflectional future and the subjunctive after 'cuando' to discuss future changes.

Key learning points

  • The inflectional future tense is used to express what will happen.
  • Singular conjugations of the inflectional future are formed by adding the endings -é, -ás or -á to the infinitive.
  • The verbs 'tener', 'hacer' and 'poder' have irregular stems in the future tense: 'tendr-', 'har-' and 'podr-'.
  • The subjunctive is a verb form that indicates uncertainty, wishing or refers to actions that have not yet happened.
