Key learning points
- Move: working as a team to move quickly will help us to complete challenges.
- Think: it is important to understand that a successful team has to cooperate and trust one another to be successful.
- Feel: trying our hardest, even when we are not always successful as a team, demonstrates excellent resilience.
- Connect: working together as a team by communicating, to apply simple tactics, helps us win the challenge.
Words to know
- team
- a group of people who work together with the objective of achieving the same a goal
- challenges
- tests of ability or skill
- tactics
- carefully planned sets of actions that are used by a team or an individual to achieve a certain goal
Common mistakes
Pupils believe that all implemented tactics will always be successful.
Ensure pupils understand that tactics don't always work and they may need to react quickly to adapt them.
For parents, carers and teachers
- Keep the groups small in cycle 2 to avoid pupils having to wait in line. Groups of 3 are suggested to ensure there is collaboration and reduce inactive time.
