Words to know
- cooperation
- working together and helping others to achieve a goal
- communication
- sharing ideas, thoughts or feelings with others
- team
- a group of people who work together to reach a goal
Common mistakes
Some pupils may think that when they are working in a team, everyone should stay together and do the same thing.
Sometimes, a good tactic to quickly complete a challenge is to split the challenge into smaller tasks and share them out amongst the team. A team can still be working towards the same goal, even if everyone is working separately on different tasks.
For parents, carers and teachers
- If you have access to a wider range of equipment, you can create your own additional materials by taking photographs and copying them into the blank template provided.
