- a light, bouncy travelling action moving from foot to foot
- circling
- travelling in a circular pathway
Common mistakes
When dancing a duet, you should always stay with the same partner.
Quite often, if dancing a duet, we stay with the same partner, but in some social dances we change who we dance with as part of the dance. This helps a community get to meet new people.
For parents, carers and teachers
- Use one pair or group to demonstrate each of the actions before giving the whole class the opportunity to try.
